Product Description:
CP7800-0001-0010 is an industrial control panel from Beckhoff’s CP78xx series. It has a 10.4 inch touch-enable display. Interfaces available on the device include USB and DVI. A keyboard is not available on the unit. The control panel is optimally suited to plant and machine engineering applications. It has a color TFT display in an aluminum housing. Four holes on the backplane allow secure installation. Beckhoff has not designed the unit for use in explosive atmospheres. Physical interface for the DVI connection is a I9POL M16 connector. This connector is IP67 rated for excellent ingress protection. The power supply connector is a 4POL M12 connector with IP67 rating. The USB input connector has a 5POL M9 physical connector with UP67 protection rating. Operators can use the DVI interface to transfer video signal from the PC to the control panel.
The USB interface supports the 1.1 version of the standard for 1.5 to 12 Mbps data transmission rates. A protective earth connection is available at the back of the unit and must be connected to low-resistance ground. Beckhoff supplies the power supply connector with the control panel. Ready-made cable sets are available from Beckhoff for USB / DVI cables measuring 3 and 5 meters respectively. Dimensions of the control panel are 353.8 x 208.3 x 27.5 millimeters. Before connecting any cable to the CP7800-0001-0010, operators must switch off the industrial PC and disconnect it from the power supply. The control panel is designed by Beckhoff to be maintenance-free. For clearing, a soft cloth can be used to clean the front side. Ambient conditions for operation include 0 to 55 degrees Celsius temperature and maximum 95% relative humidity.
