Product Description:
The CP7800-0001-0010 is an operator-interface computer produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for cabinet-door or arm mounting, this unit combines a touch display, processor board, and field wiring in a sealed front assembly for machine control stations. By hosting TwinCAT runtime or other soft PLC software, it provides visualization and local command entry while exchanging data with upstream controllers over standard industrial networks. The integrated design places the display and computing hardware at the operator station, reducing the need for a separate computer enclosure near the machine.
The electronics draw power from a 24 VDC supply that enters through a four-pole M12 connector, allowing a secure and accessible power connection. Image data reaches external monitors over a DVI-D line that terminates at a 19-pole M16 socket, so video remains digital from the source to the display. The front of the housing has an IP65 protection rating, keeping dust and low-pressure water jets away from internal circuits. A rear USB service port uses a five-pole M9 plug and supports the USB 1.1 protocol. Its maximum throughput of 12 Mbps is sufficient for a keyboard, mouse, or compatible data-transfer device. Continuous operation is permitted when the ambient temperature does not exceed 55 °C. The touch interface remains reliable at relative humidity levels up to 95% RH, allowing the panel to operate in humid processing areas.
During transportation or warehouse storage, the internal components withstand temperatures from -20 °C to +65 °C without damage to the LCD or solder joints. The unit withstands shocks of 5 G lasting 30 ms, including impacts that can occur while equipment is being moved or installed. During operation, the chassis resists sinusoidal vibration from 58 Hz to 500 Hz at 0.5 G. At lower frequencies, displacement is limited to 0.035 mm from 10 Hz to 58 Hz. These limits allow the display, internal circuit boards, and electrical connections to remain stable when the host machine experiences recurring motion. The sealed connectors also protect cable interfaces from dust and moisture around packaging machinery, mobile equipment, and industrial control stations.
