The CP7800-0001-0000 is a fanless panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a front-end operator terminal, it brings PC-based control and visualization directly onto the machine door, merging display, touch input, and interface routing in one IP-rated enclosure. The unit is intended to run automation platforms such as TwinCAT while communicating with drives, I/O, or higher-level networks.
Power is supplied at 24 VDC, so the unit can be wired from the common low-voltage control circuit in a cabinet. The front side integrates a TFT display panel that presents process data with high contrast even under factory lighting. Video signals leave the housing through a 19-Pole M16 feed-through that carries the DVI-D channel to a remote display or cabinet PC when the panel must act only as a monitor. USB peripherals connect via a sealed 5-Pole M9 socket that supports the USB 1.1 standard, while field power loops enter on a rugged 4-Pole M12 connector. Four threaded mounting holes in the rear flange allow direct attachment to swing arms, and the aluminum housing plus IP65 panel and plug ratings protect electronics from dust and water jets.
The environmental ratings target harsh motion zones. The electronics tolerate up to 95%, Non-Condensing relative humidity, while the cast aluminum front keeps seals intact during wash-down. Mechanical stresses are handled through a shock resistance of 5 G for events lasting 30 ms and vibration limits of 0.035 mm amplitude from 10–58 Hz and 0.5 G acceleration from 58–500 Hz. These values align with typical machine-mounted arm applications where rapid axis movement or pneumatic impacts are common. Because panel and plug surfaces remain IP65, the system maintains enclosure integrity even when bolted on rotating joints or gantry supports.
