Product Description:
The CP7732-0001-0020 is an industrial panel PC produced by Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. This unit integrates processing electronics, a touchscreen, and field wiring points inside a sealed aluminum housing so it can be mounted directly on machinery. The integrated layout reduces separate wiring between the display section and the computer electronics. In an automated cell, it runs the PLC, drives the user interface, exchanges data with drives and sensors, and bridges the local network to supervisory controls, allowing machine control and visualization to reside on one compact platform without an additional cabinet.
The electronics draw power from a 24 VDC nominal supply that enters through a 4-pin M12 connector; the mating plug is specified for 16 A to tolerate inrush current from inductive loads. Application code uses DDR4 RAM, providing high bandwidth for deterministic motion tasks and multi-axis visualization. Two integrated ports support Gigabit Ethernet, letting the panel forward real-time packets between upstream controllers and downstream devices without an external switch. Dust and washdown spray are blocked by the front bezel’s IP65 rating, so the computer can be installed outside a cabinet. The power header accommodates conductors up to 1.5 mm², simplifying field wiring while maintaining the allowable voltage drop over modest cable lengths.
Peripheral connectivity continues with an RS232 interface for barcode readers and diagnostic tools, and storage is handled by a removable CFast card. The serial port supports direct attachment of legacy peripherals that do not use Ethernet. The dual RJ45 jacks carry data up to 100 m, and the presence of two physical lines allows network redundancy when both Ethernet ports are used. A backup battery rated at 225 mAh uses a lithium CR2032 cell that supplies 3.0 V to preserve BIOS parameters during shutdown. Operation remains stable in ambient humidity up to 95% RH.
