The CP7711-0001-0030 is an industrial panel PC supplied by Beckhoff and included in the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a compact operator interface and embedded controller, it brings visualization, local control, and data collection to machines without requiring separate HMI and IPC enclosures. Its front-mounted touch screen allows direct interaction on production lines, while the internal PC platform integrates with the Beckhoff TwinCAT runtime for deterministic control tasks. This arrangement supports applications in assembly cells, packaging stations, and process skids where installation space is limited.
This panel PC is powered by a nominal 24 VDC source delivered through a rugged 4-pin M12 connector. The mating plug is rated for a continuous current of 16 A, which accommodates inrush current and connected accessory loads. Field wiring can use conductors up to 1.5 mm², and four M6 × 18 mm mounting holes secure the housing to an arm or cabinet door. The aluminum enclosure has an IP65 protection rating, preventing water jets and airborne dust from reaching the electronics. A shock resistance of 5 G allows the unit to operate on equipment exposed to mechanical movement and vibration. A CFast card serves as the solid-state storage medium, avoiding the moving parts associated with conventional rotating drives.
Network connectivity is provided by two RJ45 ports that support data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s over standard copper cabling. Each Ethernet link supports cable runs as long as 100 m, allowing flexible panel placement throughout large machines. Legacy equipment can be connected through one RS-232 serial interface, which provides a dedicated communication path for compatible peripheral devices. The capacitive touch screen supports direct input without an external keyboard, helping preserve the sealed installation on production lines. These communication interfaces can connect the panel PC to sensors, drives, controllers, and supervisory systems while keeping network and serial traffic on their appropriate ports.
