Product Description:
The CP7702-1420-0040 is a compact Panel PC produced by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It serves as an all-in-one operator panel, combining processing power, a display, and field connections so machine control, visualization, and data exchange can run directly at the equipment. This configuration removes the need for a separate industrial PC in the cabinet and shortens cable runs between the human-machine interface and the underlying I/O. The unit is suitable for discrete assembly cells, small conveyors, and packaging workstations where installation space is limited.
The unit accepts a supply of 22–30 VDC through a four-pin M12 connector, where pin 1 carries 24 V and pin 3 is ground. Conductors up to 1.5 mm² fit the cage clamp. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to +45 °C, and the housing meets the IP65 protection rating, helping prevent dust and low-pressure water jets from reaching internal components during washdown. Four M6 × 18 mm mounting holes secure the chassis to a swing arm or mounting plate. Electromagnetic emissions comply with EN 61000-6-4, limiting conducted and radiated interference on factory networks. Two RJ45 Ethernet ports provide independent channels for real-time fieldbus traffic or segmented plant networks without requiring an external switch.
Immunity to industrial interference complies with EN 61000-6-2, helping the system remain stable near welders or large drives. A dedicated RS-232 serial port supports legacy barcode readers or simple text displays, while the Ethernet interface supports 100/1000 Mbit/s communication for compatibility with existing infrastructure. Mechanical shock tolerance reaches 5 G for 30 ms. The unit withstands vibrations with an amplitude of 0.035 mm from 10 to 58 Hz and an acceleration of 0.5 G from 58 to 500 Hz, allowing direct arm mounting on machine frames. The system can be stored at temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C without performance drift.
