Product Description:
The CP7223-0002-0030 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for installation on production lines, it joins computing hardware, a flat-panel display, and user input hardware in a sealed housing that can be mounted on an articulated arm. Within automated cells it serves as the local human-machine interface, allowing operators to run visualization, data entry, and diagnostic tasks without placing conventional office hardware in harsh factory zones.
The front of the unit carries a 19-inch TFT that presents process graphics at a native 1280 × 1024 resolution. That pixel map is arranged in a 5:4 aspect ratio, making legacy SCADA layouts easier to port without rescaling. A projected-capacitive touch pad replaces a mouse, and a dedicated numeric keyboard accelerates set-point entry. Behind the display, an industrial 3.5-inch motherboard hosts the operating system while drawing power from a single 24 V DC source, simplifying cabinet wiring. The aluminum front panel is rated IP65, so coolant splash and airborne dust cannot reach internal electronics when the screen is cleaned or when airflow is turbulent around the machine.
Mechanical proportions support ergonomic arm mounting. The housing stands 563 mm high, spans 425.8 mm wide, and has a depth of 111.8 mm, keeping center-of-gravity close to the support pivot. A circular clamp accepts a 48 mm mounting tube, matching common steel arm sections so the operator can swing or tilt the panel to suit varying workstation heights. The mounting arm style also leaves cabinet space free because the panel does not require a cutout in a door or wall. Together, these dimensions, the numeric keypad, and the compact board format establish an operator station that integrates with tight machine layouts while retaining full PC performance.
