The CP7202-1010-0040 is a compact Panel PC assembled by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It is designed as a combined operator interface and controller for industrial automation work cells and process lines. The unit delivers touchscreen visualization and direct machine control functions in a single housing. By combining both roles in one platform, it reduces the amount of separate hardware needed at the machine and keeps the operator display close to the control task.
This unit operates from a control voltage of 24 VDC, allowing installation alongside I/O modules on the same low-voltage bus. System memory is supplied as DDR4-RAM, which increases data bandwidth for real-time control tasks compared to earlier DDR3 designs. Network integration is handled through a single Ethernet connector marked 1 x RJ45. The cast-aluminum front and sealed connectors confer a protection rating of IP65, so the panel resists dust ingress and water jets when mounted correctly. Reliable function is maintained in atmospheres with relative humidity up to 95% without condensation.
