Beckhoff’s CP7201-1009-0000 is a panel PC from the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for machine-level installation, the unit integrates computing hardware and a display so it can run control software and present operator dialogs directly on production equipment. By combining processing, storage, and a touchscreen in one sealed housing, the device simplifies human-machine interface tasks in industrial automation cells that require decentralized visualization and data entry.

The 12 in diagonal TFT has an active viewing area, and its 800 x 600 pixel resolution matches legacy PLC screens while still giving ample space for process graphics. Input is registered through a resistive touchscreen, so gloved interaction is possible and no calibration is lost after repeated presses. The screen layout is suitable for alarm pages, status windows, and recipe entry at the machine. A Celeron M 1.0 GHz processor handles runtime tasks such as logic execution and trending, and its passively cooled design keeps internal airflow to a minimum. The system carries 1024 MB DDR-RAM S0 for volatile data and 2 GB of flash storage for the operating system and recipe files. Because there are no front keys, all navigation relies on the touchscreen to prevent dirt ingress. Operation is supplied from a 24 V DC control circuit, allowing direct connection to common cabinet power buses.

With enclosure dimensions of 111.8 mm deep, 326.3 mm wide, and 353.8 mm high, the panel PC fits on a swiveling arm without occupying cabinet space. The mounting interface uses a rotatable arm adapter that attaches to a 48 mm fixing tube, enabling the screen to be positioned for each operator while still supporting cable routing through the hollow tube. An IP65 protection rating on the front panel shields the display area from dust and water jets during washdown. Arm mounting keeps the interface close to the process area, so the screen can be viewed and operated where machine status is most relevant.
