Product Description:
The CP7201-0001-0030 is a panel PC from Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. It integrates an industrial computer and display to act as a local human-machine interface on automated lines, combining visualization and control in one enclosure. Mounted on a support arm, it lets operators supervise PLC sequences, adjust parameters, and acknowledge alarms without returning to a remote cabinet. Because the computer and display are integrated, the user interface stays in one location instead of being split between separate devices.
A 12-inch TFT renders operator menus at 800 x 600 pixels, keeping touch targets clear while limiting graphic load on the CPU. Because the panel uses a 4:3 aspect ratio, many legacy SCADA layouts scale without distortion. That display format also suits software pages built for older industrial HMIs with fixed menu bars and dialog boxes. Input is registered through a resistive touch screen, and no dedicated front keys are fitted, allowing a smooth face that is easy to clean. The housing provides IP65 protection on the front, so dust and water jets cannot enter around the bezel during washdown. Internal electronics operate from a 24 V DC power rail commonly supplied in control cabinets, and the 3.5-inch motherboard provides room for mass storage and interface expansion.
The unit is proportioned for use on support-arm systems without creating excessive bulk at the machine. The aluminum front panel stands 326.3 mm tall and 353.8 mm wide, framing the display without excessive overhang. Behind it, the chassis narrows to a rear footprint of 291.5 mm by 325 mm, which helps the housing fit more easily near guarding or other equipment. The narrower rear section also leaves more freedom for cable routing and arm movement around the mounting point. A depth of 111.8 mm houses the processor, drive bay, and cooling passages while still leaving airflow clearance. For tube-mounted installations, the base includes a coupling sized for a 48 mm diameter pipe, enabling rotation and tilt adjustments at the machine.
