The CP7130-1016 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines processing electronics with an integrated flat-panel display. This arrangement lets operators issue commands, view process data, and manage alarms directly on the machine floor while linking supervisory software with controllers in distributed industrial automation cells. Because the computer and display are combined in one housing, the user interface remains close to the controlled process and does not require a separate operator terminal.
The unit is powered from a 24 V DC supply, allowing direct connection to common control-cabinet power rails, and its maximum draw of 150 W sets the sizing limits for upstream power supplies and backup modules. Two independent network links provided by 2 x 10/100Base-T RJ45 ports support segregated control and information technology traffic or redundant ring topologies. Legacy equipment can still be integrated through a dedicated 1 x RS232 interface, while dual USB 2.0 sockets support flash-drive transfer or local data logging. The operator works on a 10 in TFT panel whose brightness and viewing angle characteristics remain stable for 24-hour use, and an external monitor can be attached through the DVI-I connection when a larger visualization area is required.
The electronics are housed in an enclosure that measures 236 × 291 × 186 mm, and this rear section mates with a front panel measuring 403.4 × 368.2 × 29.5 mm. Together they form a sealed assembly rated at IP65, preventing dust ingress and protecting against low-pressure water jets when the mounting arm is fixed to open production frames. The aluminum front resists corrosion, and an alphanumerical membrane keyboard beneath the touchscreen gives tactile input for line operators wearing gloves. A 7-pole power connector simplifies single-cable routing through swing arms, while the overall mass of 11.5 kg helps maintain mechanical stability during continuous adjustment of the articulated support.
