Product Description:
The CP7037-1037-0000 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for machine-mounted front ends, it integrates computing and display functions so operators can monitor processes, view status messages, and enter commands directly on the production floor. In industrial automation installations, the unit uses CP-Link technology to carry video signals, peripheral data, and power over one cable. This arrangement simplifies wiring between the panel and the host computer and reduces the number of separate connections at the machine.
The CP-Link interface is presented on two BNC sockets. Link segment A carries receive data on pin 1=RXD and 2=GND, while segment B carries transmit data and power on pin 1=TXD + Power and 2=GND. These connectors are protected to IP54, while the front panel has a protection rating of IP65. Communication can be routed up to 100 m without repeaters, allowing the screen to be mounted well away from the host IPC. Visual feedback is shown on a 12 in TFT display, and the chassis is made from Aluminum to help keep weight low while providing shielding against electrical noise. Because power is supplied through the link, the panel does not require a separate power cable at the mounting point.
The housing has an overall height of 370.2 mm, an overall width of 426 mm, and an overall depth of 27.5 mm, so the panel projects only slightly from the cabinet door. Panel builders must prepare a rectangular cutout measuring 342.6 mm high by 399.8 mm wide to secure the rear mounting clamps and keep the front surface flush with the enclosure. During service, the electronics tolerate ambient humidity up to 95% RH without condensation, which supports use in damp production areas. The shallow enclosure is also useful where door clearance is limited or where closely spaced operator stations need a compact front profile.
