CP7037-1012 is a CP70xx series control panel. It is designed by Beckhoff for industrial applications. The control panel allows operators on the plant floor to access control software running on industrial PCs located inside plant control rooms. It has a rugged aluminum housing that complies with IP65 protection rating. This rating ensures strong dust and liquid ingress protection, allowing installation and operation of the control panel in dusty and wet environments. The control panel links to the PC via a CP link connection. CP link is a Beckhoff proprietary communication protocol, which allows communication and power transfer between PCs and control panels located up to 100 meters apart. The protocol uses coaxial cable as the physical transmission medium. Coaxial cables are renowned for their strong noise and interference rejection capabilities.
Beckhoff provides pre-assembled CP link cables that operators can order based on their requirements. Control panels with CP link support draw power from the link.
