Product Description:
The CP7032-1031-0010 is a fanless panel PC from Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a front-end operator station, the unit mounts on control cabinets and presents process data to operators while accepting touch or keypad input for machine commands over the CP-Link interface. It functions as a remote human-machine interface that eliminates the need for a local computer on the production floor.
The display measures 15 in, providing sufficient screen area for multi-pane visualizations of PLC variables, trends, and alarms. It employs a TFT module, giving stable color reproduction and quick pixel response needed for dynamic graphics. Mechanical clearances are defined by a front width of 483 mm, a height of 410.2 mm, and a chassis depth of 28.5 mm, allowing flush installation in 19-inch racks or custom panels without protrusion. An aluminum housing delivers structural rigidity and acts as a heat sink, while two CP-Link BNC connectors bring video, USB, and device power together, reducing harness complexity. A molded plug qualified to IP54 shields the interface during service.
Environmental tolerances support continuous duty between 0 to 55 °C, so the screen remains functional near heat-generating drives or chillers. Once fastened, the bezel meets IP65 ingress protection, blocking water jets and airborne dust from the electronics. Internal components survive shocks of 5 G, 30 ms, which is useful when the enclosure is mounted on mobile equipment or experiences tool-change impacts. Signal integrity over distances up to 100 m lets designers place the display far from the host IPC without extra repeaters, opening options for distributed machine layouts. Operation is also possible at up to 95 % relative humidity, provided condensation is avoided.
