Product Description:
CP7032-0002 is an industrial control panel from Beckhoff. It provides operators working on the plant floor with an interface from which they can monitor and control industrial processes. Applications include plant or machine engineering. The aluminum housing contains a large TFT display, an alphanumeric keypad, and a mouse pad. Four holes in the backplane allow secure installation. Use of the device in locations where there is a risk of explosions is not permitted. Communication interface on the unit is CP-link which has two male BNC ports. CP-link port A is used for data transmission and CP-link port B is used for the power supply to the control panel. Maximum cable length supported by the interface is 100 meters. A protective earth connection point at the back of the device must be connected to low-resistance earth.
The CP7032-0002 comes with pre-loaded firmware. It is certified by CE. The device has a 15 inch display and its dimensions are 483 x 410 x 28.5 millimeters. Pixel errors can be present on the display. However, these do not represent a valid reason for customer complaints. The fluorescent lamps of the displays can be replaced by a trained technical person. During operation Beckhoff recommends maintain ambient temperature between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius and relative humidity at or below 95%. Protection rating of the control panel is IP65 and protection rating of the connector plug is IP54. Ambient temperature for control panel transport and storage is from -20 to 65 degrees Celsius. The keypad must only be operated by human fingertips. Any attempt to use other objects to operate the keypad can lead to its malfunction or destruction.
