Product Description:
The CP7032-0001-0000 is an embedded Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. Installed on the front of a control cabinet, the unit combines a color display, touch sensor, and optional keyboard into a single sealed assembly. Through its CP-Link connection, it functions as the operator station for motion controllers and I/O terminals, presenting machine status information and allowing direct parameter entry on the production floor. The integrated format helps place display and input functions at the machine without a separate desktop computer.
A graphical interface is presented on a 15 in TFT display that renders at 1024 x 768 pixels, giving adequate clarity for parameter screens and alarm windows. The aluminum front panel carries a rating of IP65, so splashes and dust do not reach the internal electronics, while rear connector zones are sealed to IP54. With a slim profile of only 28.5 mm, the unit fits shallow control enclosures. User input is accepted through a resistive touch screen, and a separate alphanumeric PC keyboard can be cabled when text entry is needed. Four M6 x 18 mm mounting holes anchor the panel to a cabinet door, and its 483 mm width and 410.2 mm height match standard 19-inch rack openings. This layout leaves room around the screen for labels, hardware, and door reinforcement.
Signal and power are routed through the CP-Link interface, where two BNC backplane connectors carry video, USB emulation, and a 24 V supply. The dual link can span up to 100 m between the panel and the host PC, using coaxial cables terminated with 2 x BNC plugs. During transport or operation, the assembly withstands shocks up to 5 G, and it continues to operate in environments with relative humidity as high as 95%, non-condensing. Energy for the electronics is delivered through the same CP-Link connection, so no separate mains feed is required. Sealed connectors help protect the interface area, and the integrated touch sensor supports direct interaction without additional pointing devices.
