Front-side sealing achieves an IP65 rating, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot enter the display or keyboard area. The interactive portion consists of a 12 in diagonal TFT panel that renders graphics at 800 x 600 pixels, providing sufficient resolution for typical SCADA objects. Power, video, and USB are supplied via CP-Link, eliminating a separate mains feed and reducing heat inside the housing. The aluminum chassis survives vibration shocks up to 5 G, and ten dedicated PLC function keys augment the standard alphanumeric keyboard to trigger user-defined machine commands.
