By separating the operator interface from the core PC, this product streamlines wiring and simplifies maintenance schedules in automated production cells. This layout keeps the display close to the machine process without requiring the main computing hardware to be mounted on the outside of the cabinet.
The panel communicates and receives power over a single CP-Link connection, reducing cable count and eliminating a dedicated power feed between the host computer and the operator panel. Operators view process data on a 12 in diagonal TFT display that delivers consistent color at varied viewing angles. Signal integrity is maintained over cable runs up to 100 m, so the screen can be mounted far from the host IPC without repeaters. Mechanically, the aluminum front resists deformation, and the assembly withstands shocks of 5 G, 30 ms without functional loss. A threaded M6 insert on the rear panel provides a defined fastening point, and all wiring enters through the CP-Link hybrid connector, which helps keep the housing sealed against dust.
The panel tolerates vibration levels of 10-58 Hz: 0.035 mm; 58-500 Hz: 0.5 G, allowing installation on moving gantries or presses. Safe storage is possible at temperatures from −20 to 65 °C, so spare units can be kept in unconditioned warehouses. During operation, the front panel tolerates relative humidity up to 95%, non-condensing. The enclosure meets Panel IP65; Plug IP54, protecting internal circuits from water jets and fine particulates, while a ground bolt provides protective earthing to a common bonding network used in industrial cabinets.
