CP7022-1226-0000 is a digital control panel designed for industrial use. The control panel is part of Beckhoff’s CP70xx series which include salient control panel features like a 15 inch touchscreen display, a numerical keypad, CP link interface, and a PS/2 interface for connecting mice and a keyboard interface. Operators can use the touchscreen display, or an external keyboard or mouse for input. The control panel is a human machine interface or HMI. The touchscreen display allows for close monitoring and measuring of automation motion, which includes indicating any errors or anomolies. The control panel installs near working industrial machines and connects to an industrial PC over a communication link. For the CP7022-1226-0000 control panel, the CP link connection is used for data transfer between the PC and the control panel. CP link is a Beckhoff protocol for industrial communication.
It uses coaxial cables for data and power transmission. Two coaxial cables are needed for bi-directional data transfer. Maximum length of CP link cables is 100 meters.
