The CP7022-1013 is an industrial panel PC unit produced by Beckhoff and assigned to the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for front installation on machinery, the unit combines a 15-inch TFT display, a numeric keypad, and ten PLC special keys to form a compact human-machine interface for on-site control. Communication and power are both routed through the CP-Link interface, allowing the panel to act as a remote console for an industrial PC without adding local ventilation or separate power distribution hardware in the operator area.
Its display diagonal is 15 in, and the panel renders process graphics at 1024 x 768 pixels on a TFT screen, giving clear color representation for status pages and alarms. The laminated front panel has an IP65 ingress rating, sealing the electronics against dust and water jets so the unit can be washed down in place. Normal service is permitted between 0 to 55 °C with ambient humidity up to 95% non-condensing, which covers most installations without additional climate control. When linked through CP-Link cabling, the terminal can be positioned as far as 100 m from the host computer, allowing the processing hardware to remain in a protected rack while the operator interface stays on the machine.
For wiring, video and data lines terminate on 2 x BNC backplane connectors that mate with the CP-Link transmission module. The aluminum housing measures 515 x 370.2 x 28.5 mm, providing a slim profile that minimizes protrusion from the cabinet door. A rectangular recess of 483.8 x 342.6 mm is required for flush mounting, so the panel can be secured with rear clamps after the opening is cut. Power, touch-screen signals, and keyboard data share the same CP-Link feed, which reduces extra cabling. Storage temperatures from -20 to +65 °C protect the device during transport, and the numeric front keyboard plus ten PLC keys support direct value entry.
