Product Description:
The CP7022-0000 is a fanless panel PC from Beckhoff that belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. As an HMI and control computer, it combines a touchscreen display with an integrated industrial motherboard so that machine builders can run TwinCAT runtime and visualization software on a single device. By mounting directly on the machine front and sealing against dust and water, the unit simplifies cabinet wiring while giving operators direct access to PLC functions in harsh shop-floor environments.
Internal electronics are supplied through a nominal 24 VDC input that may vary between 22 and 30 VDC, so standard control power supplies can feed the computer. The compact 3.5-inch mainboard accepts high-speed DDR4 RAM for deterministic program execution. A single storage bay accommodates a 2.5-inch hard disk or SSD in a 1 × 2.5-inch carrier that slides out for service access. Field wiring is handled by a 12-pin round connector that carries both power and signals to the front panel. An IP65 protection rating means the aluminum housing blocks dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, allowing installation on washdown equipment. One Gigabit Ethernet port is provided for connection to a control network, and cable runs up to 100 m are supported without repeaters.
The control platform also integrates an fTPM 2.0 secure element that stores encryption keys for signed TwinCAT projects and network authentication. The electronics operate within 0 °C to +45 °C, while nonvolatile components withstand storage temperatures from -20 °C to +65 °C, allowing inventory to be kept in unheated warehouses. The unit provides 5 G shock resistance for 30 ms pulses and tolerates vibration from 10 to 58 Hz at 0.035 mm and from 58 to 500 Hz at 0.5 G. These durability characteristics help protect stored data and maintain screen responsiveness when the panel is mounted directly on presses, sorters, or mobile platforms.
