Product Description:
The CP7021-1059-0010 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for use on machine enclosures or control cabinets, it combines visualization, numeric input, and system wiring into a single front unit that connects back to the control computer over CP-Link. By locating the computing resources remotely and keeping only the display and keypad in the process area, the product reduces panel depth while still giving operators direct access to HMI screens and keypad-based data entry in industrial automation cells.
Its active matrix screen provides a native resolution of 800 × 600 pixels across a 12 in diagonal display area, giving clear visualization for PLC status pages and process trends. The membrane front with a numeric keyboard allows rapid value entry without external peripherals and is sealed to an IP65 rating, so water jets or dust on the machine face do not reach the electronics. A die-cast aluminum bezel adds mechanical strength and helps dissipate heat from the front assembly. Communication and 24 V power are both carried over the CP-Link channel, and with shielded cabling the distance between the panel and host can reach 100 m. For plant environments with washdown or paint mist, the rear cable plugs are protected to IP54, and operation remains stable up to 95% relative humidity.
Continuous service is permitted from 0 °C up to 55 °C, while storage can extend down to -20 °C and up to 65 °C without damage to the LCD or keypad layers. The housing has 4 × M6 × 18 mm threaded mounting points, allowing direct attachment to swing arms or adapter plates without extra brackets. The rear uses 2 × BNC connectors for the differential video and return signals used by CP-Link, so the signal path can be disconnected without disturbing the power feed. This layout keeps the front unit compact while the control computer remains mounted separately.
