The CP7021-1008-0000 belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series from Beckhoff. This panel-mounted PC integrates display, keyboard, and communication hardware so that operators can issue commands and monitor processes directly on the production floor. By combining a dedicated numeric keypad with programmable PLC function keys, it operates as a compact human-machine interface for controllers kept inside a protected cabinet while the front face remains accessible on the machine housing. Its layout lets the operator interface stay at the machine while the supporting electronics can be placed farther away.
The front panel features a 12-inch TFT display that renders process graphics at 800 x 600 pixels. With a chassis depth of 27.5 mm and an overall height of 308.3 mm, the unit fits shallow control enclosures. The housing is rated IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot penetrate the electronics from the front. All data and power are routed through a single CP-Link channel exposed on the two rear BNC connectors, and power is delivered over that same link. The integrated numeric keyboard is supplemented by ten PLC special keys, and the mounting plate provides 4 x M6 x 18 mm threaded holes for secure front installation. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to 55 °C, while vibration loads up to 10-58 Hz at 0.035 mm and 58-500 Hz at 0.5 G do not disrupt functionality.
During shock events, the aluminum frame withstands 5 G, 30 ms without image loss or key bounce. When remote electronics must be separated from the operator panel, the CP-Link cable can be extended to 100 m, allowing flexible cabinet placement. The unit tolerates ambient humidity up to 95% non-condensing, which supports use in high-moisture areas common in food and beverage plants. The sealed front and integrated keypad make it suitable for machine locations that need direct numeric entry and local process visibility.
