The CP7021-0001 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for machine-level visualization and control, the unit combines an industrial display, embedded computer hardware, and field connectivity in a single front-mounted module. In an automation cell it serves as the operator station, allowing process data entry through a touch screen and dedicated keys while forwarding information to a PLC or higher-level controller over Beckhoff real-time links.
The front display is a TFT panel measuring 12 in diagonally; its native resolution of 800 × 600 pixels supports SCADA graphics without scaling. Touch input is accepted through an analog-resistive screen so operators can navigate menus while wearing gloves. The panel communicates with the host IPC via the CP-Link interface, which multiplexes video, USB, and power on a single cable to simplify cabinet routing. An IP65 rating applies to the front surface, meaning the unit resists dust ingress and water jets during wash-down cycles. A maximum cable distance of 100 m between the CP-Link transmitter and the panel permits remote mounting on extended conveyor lines while maintaining signal integrity.
Mechanical integration is aided by a slim profile of 27.5 mm; combined with a frontal span of 406 mm and a height of 308.3 mm, this allows installation in shallow enclosures. Four M6 × 18 mm mounting holes are provided for bracket fastening, and an M4 grounding thread ensures protective bonding to the machine frame. The aluminum housing dissipates heat without fans, while a numeric keyboard supplements the touch screen for rapid data entry.
