The CP7012-0001-0010 panel PC is manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended for cabinet-front installation, it serves as a human-machine interface that relays graphics and touch inputs over the CP-Link bus to a host controller. By integrating display electronics, function keys, and remote video transmission in one aluminum enclosure, it gives operators direct access to machine status, alarm acknowledgment, and recipe selection while keeping heat-generating computer hardware in a protected area.

The front of the unit is sealed to IP65, while the rear connection area is arranged for protected cable routing. Visual information is shown on a 15 in diagonal screen that uses TFT technology for stable color and wide viewing angles. Graphics are rendered at 1024 x 768 pixels, and commands can be entered through the responsive Touch Screen. Ten PLC special keys with integrated LEDs supplement the standard function-key keyboard for frequently used commands. The CP-Link interface carries digital video and USB signals on a single cable, so the computing unit can be installed away from the operating panel. An aluminum housing helps limit weight and supports heat dissipation, while the function-key layout remains practical for gloved operation in industrial areas.

Two coaxial CP-Link ports are provided on 2 x BNC connectors, and the transmission distance may reach 100 m without signal repeaters. Mechanical durability is shown by an impact resistance of 5 G, 30 ms, and reliable operation is maintained in ambient humidity up to 95% non-condensing. The panel measures 426 x 395 x 28.5 mm and fastens through four M6 x 18 mm threaded mounting holes, allowing flush mounting or support-arm installation. An IP54-rated plug set protects the power, USB, and grounding lines against dust ingress.
