The CP7011-0001 is a panel-mount industrial PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It serves as a compact human-machine interface that unites processing, visualization, and operator input for automated machinery. By combining a touch screen with fixed function keys, the unit lets maintenance staff and machine operators issue commands, confirm alarms, and adjust parameters without additional external terminals. Its slim, sealed fascia is intended for direct installation on control cabinets where exposure to dust or fluid splashes can occur.
The front bezel spans 353.8 mm in width and 326.3 mm in height, while the enclosure depth is only 27.5 mm, so the device occupies minimal cabinet volume when secured through four M6 x 18 mm mounting holes. A 12 in TFT display renders process graphics at 800 x 600 pixels, providing sufficient resolution for alarm lists and trend plots. Ten PLC-dedicated keys supplement standard function keys, giving direct access to frequently used machine routines. Touch input supports point selection and gesture navigation, which simplifies screen layout by eliminating redundant hardware buttons. Rear connectors include two BNC sockets for video and synchronization signals routed toward the host IPC.
Field installation is aided by the CP-Link transmission path, which maintains full-quality video and USB-like input over distances up to 100 m; this allows the computing hardware to remain in a protected rack while the panel is mounted on the machine. The aluminum front has an IP65 protection rating that blocks particulate ingress and low-pressure water jets. Continuous operation is specified from 0 to 55 °C, and the unit can operate in ambient humidity up to 95%, non-condensing. It is intended for washdown zones, packaging stations, and other environments with fluctuating temperature and moisture.
