Product Description:
The CP7002-1192-0010 is a panel-mounted industrial PC from Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended as a human-machine interface for PLC-controlled machinery, the unit combines a touchscreen display, embedded computing hardware, and remote wiring in one front-mounted package that links back to the control cabinet over a dedicated connection. Its role in automation is to present process graphics, accept operator input, and pass that data to the controller while withstanding the conditions found on production lines. This arrangement lets the display and operator controls stay at the machine while the supporting control hardware can remain elsewhere in the system. Because the computing section and display are integrated, the operator station can be installed as a single assembly rather than as separate monitor and panel components.
The front assembly carries a 15 in TFT display framed by an aluminum bezel that seals to the machine face. The housing measures 426 mm in width, 395 mm in height, and 28.5 mm in depth, allowing flush installation in control enclosures or operator pendants where front access is required. Once mounted, the front of the housing achieves a panel-side rating of IP65. The rear I/O connector is intended for protected cabinet zones, and the assembly tolerates low-frequency vibration of 0.035 mm together with high-frequency acceleration up to 0.5 G during operation. Its slim depth also helps in locations where door clearance or pendant space is limited.
System wiring uses a single CP-Link cable that transfers DVI graphics, USB touch signals, and 24 VDC power to the panel. The interface supports distances up to 100 m, which helps when operator stations must be placed far from the PC in large machines or along extended production cells. Electrical power is supplied through the same line, so no separate mains drop is needed at the panel location. Environmental limits span 0 °C to 55 °C for operation, with allowable relative humidity up to 95% non-condensing. Using one cable for video, touch, and power reduces the number of connections that must pass through the machine structure and can simplify routing between the panel location and the control cabinet.
