The CP7002-1160-0010 is an outstanding CP70XX control panel derived from Beckhoff’s exclusive CP Panel PC series family line. With two CP-link connection interfaces, the CP7002-1160-0010 can communicate freely with an industrial PC. With this device, data can easily be transmitted from and to the industrial PC for further monitoring, processing, and analysis. During operation, both CP-link interfaces must be utilized. The first CP-link connection cable provides a pathway for the RXD signal, while the other one is for the power supply and TXD signal. Both connection interfaces support grounding for safety purposes.
Unlike other older Beckhoff control panels, the CP7002-1160-0010 features a touch-screen display. For some applications, the CP7002-1160-0010 may also be used with a touch pen and a touch pad. The mouse on the control panel screen may be aided as well via the touch display. The screen for this control panel is a thin-film transistor display with a diagonal length of 15 inches and a resolution of XGA. Screens with XGA resolutions have a pixel frame size of 1024 x 768.
