Product Description:
The CP7002-1034 is a fanless Panel PC front module manufactured by Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended for machine-mounted human-machine interfaces, the unit combines an industrial display with remote computing over the CP-Link transmission system. By separating the display hardware from the host controller, the product reduces panel depth inside crowded enclosures while still allowing operators to supervise and adjust process variables directly on the production floor.
The visualization surface is a 15 in active-matrix TFT panel that provides consistent color rendition for SCADA graphics. To survive washdowns, the aluminum front panel carries an IP65 ingress rating, and the rear connector block is sealed to IP54, so dust and splashing liquids are kept out of signal terminations. Overall enclosure depth is just 28.5 mm, enabling installation in shallow cabinets. The housing is formed from anodized aluminum, which dissipates heat without external fans. Physical integration is handled with a single M6 mounting thread on each corner, and the panel fits a 399.8 mm by 367.4 mm cutout while covering it with a 426 mm width and 395 mm height frame that hides tolerances.
The display receives power and video exclusively through the CP-Link interface; two coaxial lines are required, so the installation needs 2 CP-Link cables. Using 75-ohm media, the signal can be routed up to 100 m from the host IPC, and Beckhoff specifies a shielded BNC plug as the data connector to maintain impedance. The link also feeds low-voltage power, eliminating separate mains wiring behind the panel. Relative humidity up to 95 percent, non-condensing, is tolerated during operation, and the aluminum housing helps resist corrosion in damp areas. All mechanical loads are carried by the bezel, so the specified cutout keeps stress off the thin wall of the control cabinet.
