The CP7002-1006-0010 operator panel is produced by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. This front end integrates a TFT display with capacitive touch and is intended to serve as the human-machine interface in distributed industrial automation cells. Through its CP-Link transport, it relays video, USB, and power signals to a host industrial PC, allowing the computing hardware to stay in a protected cabinet while the panel is mounted on the machine fascia.
The display diagonal measures 15 in, giving operators a sizable viewing area while still fitting into compact equipment doors. Its native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels matches the 4:3 aspect ratio favored by many SCADA layouts, so graphical elements remain proportionally accurate. A front panel protection rating of IP65 seals the unit against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, enabling wash-down cleaning without additional enclosures. The enclosure projects only 28.5 mm from the mounting surface, minimizing protrusion and reducing the chance of accidental impact in tight aisles. Two rear video channels are provided through 2 x BNC connectors, and these carry the differential CP-Link signal that transfers the screen image and touch feedback without quality loss over long distances.
The CP7002 panel can be linked with up to two remote units, and the CP-Link architecture maintains signal integrity to 100 m, supporting operator stations distributed along extended production lines. Mechanical installation is facilitated by 4 x M6 x 18 mm threaded inserts, which align with a mounting width of 399.8 mm and a mounting height of 367.4 mm for compliance with standard control cabinet cutouts. Its enclosure is machined from aluminum, combining low weight with high dimensional stability, and it spans 426 mm across the bezel to cover the opening completely while keeping the overall height at 395 mm.
