The CP7002-0000-0010 is a front-mounted panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff and assigned to the CP Panel PC Systems series. It acts as the human-machine interface for controllers, drives, and I/O nodes, allowing operators to view process data and issue commands directly at the machine envelope. Because the display unit is separated from the computing hardware, it can be installed on moving doors or arm systems while the industrial PC stays inside a protected enclosure, a layout that simplifies service access and reduces thermal load at the operator station.
The visualization area measures 15 in on a TFT screen, providing a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels for clear representation of trends, alarms, and schematics. The aluminum front meets a protection rating of IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets will not reach the electronics when the unit is properly sealed to the panel cutout. A housing depth of only 28.5 mm allows tight mounting behind shallow doors, and there are no front keys or touch layer, which prevents unintentional actuation in washdown areas. All power, video, and USB signals are transported through the CP-Link interface, eliminating multiple cables and permitting remote placement of the host computer up to the distance supported by that link.
