The CP7001-1057-0010 is a panel-mounted industrial computer produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a human-machine interface, the unit combines a touchscreen display, computing hardware, and communication links to supervise PLCs and motion controllers on the factory floor. It is designed for direct installation in cabinet doors or machine fronts where operators need real-time visualization and command entry without taking up additional rack space. This arrangement keeps the operator display close to the machine process while allowing the connected control hardware to remain elsewhere in the system.
Its front panel includes a 12 in TFT display that renders operator graphics at 800 × 600 pixels, which is suitable for standard SCADA objects and routine machine status screens. The aluminum housing is sealed to IP65, so airborne dust and low-pressure water jets do not enter the electronics during washdown. When mounted on a control cabinet, only 100 mm of installation depth is required, which helps the unit fit into shallow enclosures. Signals and 24 VDC power are transmitted over the proprietary CP-Link interface, and that link also supports remote display and control functions. Power is delivered through the same cable, which removes the need for a separate supply harness and keeps panel wiring more orderly.
The unit projects only 27.5 mm beyond the panel face and measures 353.8 mm wide by 326.3 mm high. During installation, the opening must match a panel cutout of 327.6 × 303.7 mm so the gasket is compressed evenly across the mounting surface. The CP-Link cable can be routed up to 100 m without repeaters, allowing the panel PC to be installed well away from its host IPC or control cabinet. All rear connectors have an IP54 rating, which helps protect signal contacts from incidental moisture during connection. Internal components tolerate impacts up to 5 G for 30 ms, allowing the panel PC to remain operational on machinery exposed to sudden stops or tool changes.
