Product Description:
The CP7001-1043-0010 is a fanless operator panel produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a remote human-machine interface, it couples a compact display module to control cabinets or machinery through CP-Link, allowing visualization and parameter entry without placing a full PC on the machine. In automated lines, it serves as the front end for PLCs and motion controllers, giving direct access to status screens, alarm logs, and recipe management while the host computer remains protected inside the cabinet.
The front glass measures 12 in diagonally and is surrounded by an aluminum bezel that keeps the overall footprint compact, while the chassis depth is only 27.5 mm. A molded gasket and sealed keys yield a frontal protection class of IP65, so spray cleaning does not reach internal electronics; the rear plug section is rated IP54 for cable entry. Two coaxial CP-Link lines terminated by 2 x BNC sockets carry video, USB signaling, and operating voltage, eliminating a separate power lead because the unit is supplied through the same link. These cables can be routed up to 100 m, which allows the panel to be mounted well away from the host IPC while keeping the machine-side interface local to the process.
The cast housing is made of Aluminum, which provides electromagnetic shielding and helps dissipate heat during continuous runtime. The panel withstands shocks of 5 G for a 30 ms duration, allowing installation on presses, pick-and-place heads, or mobile carts that are subject to abrupt stops. The mounting hardware uses a single M6 fastener at each corner, and the load is distributed across four holes to keep the panel firmly seated on enclosure doors or support arms. The low-profile housing also helps where swing clearance is limited and where a remote display must fit into tight machine layouts.
