Product Description:
The CP7001-1004 is a fanless operator interface produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for machine-level visualization, this panel PC mounts in a control cabinet door and presents process data through an integrated TFT screen while receiving power and video signals over a single CP-Link connection. By consolidating display and touch input into a slim housing, the unit simplifies HMI deployment in distributed automation architectures where cabinet space and cable routing are constrained. The integrated touchscreen also allows direct menu navigation and process interaction without requiring a separate operator terminal.
The front fascia measures 353.8 mm in width and 326.3 mm in height, fitting into a panel cutout of 327.6 mm by 303.7 mm, while the overall depth is only 27.5 mm. This shallow profile leaves ample space for other cabinet components behind the door. A 12-inch TFT with an 800 x 600 native resolution uses the traditional 4:3 aspect ratio and supplies clear graphics for PLC diagnostics and status displays. The screen size of 12 in balances readability with compact dimensions. Image and control data reach the device over two CP-Link trunks that terminate in 2 x BNC connectors, and the same connection also provides the unit’s sole power feed. The anodized bezel sits flush with the enclosure for a clean cabinet-door installation.
A single CP-Link line may be routed up to 100 m, allowing the computer unit to remain away from harsher machine zones while the panel stays at the point of operation. When sealed to the cabinet, the front surface retains its IP65 rating against dust and water jets, and the rear plug area is suited to typical enclosure interiors. Operational humidity tolerance reaches 95% without condensation, supporting use in washdown or cooling-mist environments. Mechanical resilience is confirmed by shock resistance of 5 G for 30 ms, helping the touchscreen remain stable during transport or occasional production impacts.
