The CP7001-1003-0010 is a touchscreen display unit built by Beckhoff to provide industrial operators with a more efficient way to keep track of automation systems and also send commend instructions into these systems in real-time. This display represents decades of improvement in display unit designs; it uses the Thin-film-transistor (TFT) technology with background lightning that makes visualization possible in poorly lit environments. The actual screen on this unit has a diagonal dimension of about 12-inches; it is also built according to IP65 protection, making it able to withstand dust and other foreign interference without a problem. The CP7001-1003-0010 industrial display unit features a housing material made from aluminum, which is lightweight and has a significantly high degree of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
The CP7001-1003-0010 display unit operates within a temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. Although the unit does not feature an internal air blower, it runs at a very low risk of overheating since heat is efficiently eliminated through its housing. The electrical connection of this product includes the CP-Link connection. This connection is a crucial part of this product as the panel does not have a power switch and will automatically switch on as soon as it is connected to a power supply through the CP-Link.
The CP7001-1003-0010 display unit should be properly grounded before it is switched on for operation. For this purpose, a ground bolt is present at the rear of the display unit. The resistance level of this unit against sinusoidal vibration is between 10 to 58 hertz. CP-Link cables with BNC connectors should be provided for this unit; this cable has a maximum length of about 100 meters.
