The CP7001-0001 panel PC is produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. Installed on a machine door or cabinet wall, the unit combines a display, touch sensor, and CP-Link wiring so that operators can enter setpoints, view alarms, and monitor process variables without opening the enclosure. It suits demanding factory settings where processing resources are located in a protected rack and only display and input hardware remain on the machine. This arrangement keeps the operator interface at the machine while the main computer hardware stays elsewhere.
An industrial 12 in TFT runs at 800 × 600 pixels and accepts commands through the built-in touch screen. The housing depth of 27.5 mm permits shallow-panel installation, and the front side achieves IP65 protection. Safe, continuous operation is supported from 0 to 55 °C, keeping the electronics within their rated temperature range in typical control rooms. Four M6 × 18 mm mounting holes secure the chassis, and separate connector gaskets provide IP54 sealing that shields the BNC terminations from dust and splashed fluids.
The CP-Link interface is presented on two BNC sockets, and data, video, and touch signals can travel up to 100 m over that link. This reach supports large production lines where a single control computer drives several operator panels. During service, the panel withstands vibration of 0.5 G across 58–500 Hz and endures shock events of 5 G lasting 30 ms. External dimensions measure 326.3 mm in height and 353.8 mm in width, allowing straightforward cutout preparation, while the predefined mounting pattern keeps the housing rigid under dynamic loads. For storage or transport, the assembly tolerates −20 to 65 °C, and IP54 connector sealing complements the front IP65 rating to help preserve internal circuitry.
