The CP7001-0000 is a panel-mounted industrial computer produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a human-machine interface and compact controller, it combines processing, display, and touch input in a single housing for use on machine fronts and control cabinets throughout factory automation. It provides visualization, parameter entry, and status reporting for PLC-based equipment while withstanding shop-floor conditions. Flush mounting supports cleanable operator stations and reduces exposed edges on the machine front. The PC is powered through its dedicated link, removing the need for a local supply brick.

The front panel carries a 12 in TFT display, giving operators a clear viewing area without increasing the cutout footprint. Display and power signals are delivered through the CP-Link single-cable interface, simplifying wiring because the link also supplies the unit’s voltage. When CP-Link is used, cable runs up to 100 m are permitted, so the PC can be mounted remotely from the central control cabinet. An enclosure rating of IP65 means the front surface resists dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, allowing washdown cleaning on packaging or food lines. For environmental moisture, the housing tolerates relative humidity up to 95%, non-condensing, which helps protect the screen and internal electronics.

Panel builders cut an opening of 303.7 mm by 327.6 mm and lock the unit in place with M6 mounting threads. The aluminum front remains functional from 0 °C up to 55 °C, while storage limits range down to -20 °C and up to 65 °C, safeguarding the electronics during transport or warehouse staging. Its shallow profile also leaves more room for internal wiring and nearby cabinet components.
