Product Description:
The CP6932-0001-0000 is a panel PC engineered by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines a display, an industrial computer, and a remote-mountable interface in one unit, allowing control commands and diagnostic data to be processed directly on the machine frame. This product serves as the operator terminal for PLC-based production lines, where its integrated electronics eliminate the need for a separate HMI enclosure and shorten signal paths among visualization systems, fieldbus interfaces, and motion controllers.
The unit employs TFT display technology for clear graphics and rapid screen refresh. Its front face carries a protection rating of IP65, which permits washdown cleaning while sealing the touchscreen and pushbuttons against dust ingress. The internal electronics draw power from a nominal 24 VDC supply commonly used in control cabinets, minimizing the need for additional conversion hardware. Mechanical strength is provided by a sheet-steel housing with an aluminum front that withstands vibration and resists corrosion. Rear ventilation openings and cable glands are located within an area rated at IP20, allowing normal cabinet airflow while maintaining separation between the protected front and the less-protected rear area.
A maximum DDC transfer rate of 50 kHz supports rapid EDID exchanges over the DVI Extended link, ensuring correct resolution negotiation with remote graphics sources. The video and USB extender set can span up to 50 m, so the computing hardware may be installed in a temperature-controlled cabinet away from the operator station. Peripheral connectivity follows the USB 2.0 standard and is distributed through one incoming extender port and two USB-A outputs for keyboards, scanners, or removable storage devices. This arrangement supports common operator peripherals without requiring separate extension hardware near the panel. The five-pin power connector is rated at 16 A, providing sufficient headroom for inrush current when the backlight and embedded PC boards energize simultaneously.
