Product Description:
The CP6931-1002-0000 is a Panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial touchscreen front end with an integrated computer, so the unit can run TwinCAT control software, display HMI graphics, and exchange data with fieldbus networks directly from the machine cabinet. By placing visualization and control hardware in one sealed housing, the device reduces panel depth, simplifies cable routing, and supports compact operator interfaces in automated lines, packaging cells, and process skids. The integrated format is well suited to installations where space is limited and front-of-panel operation must remain easily accessible.
The aluminum front bezel carries an IP65 rating, so it blocks dust and low-pressure water jets, while the rear section remains at IP20 for cabinet-protected mounting. Internal electronics are supplied from a 24 VDC power rail, and the M23 power connector is rated for up to 16 A, allowing the display electronics and connected USB peripherals to draw power from the panel. Continuous operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C, and above this point the CPU clock is automatically throttled to keep internal temperatures within safe limits. Wiring can be landed in push-in terminals that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², and the DDC signal path supports a 50 kHz transfer rate for consistent screen refresh and touchscreen sampling during normal operation.
Mechanical serviceability is supported by a shock resistance of 5 G for 30 ms pulses, and reliable function is maintained in environments with non-condensing humidity up to 95%. Two USB 2.0 ports are available, and each supports a data throughput of 480 Mbit/s when active extension hardware is used, while shorter direct cable runs can be connected without additional equipment. Remote monitors can be driven over the DVI interface for distances up to 50 m, which allows the display location to follow machine layout rather than cabinet placement. A dedicated service connection is also available for local touchscreen access when direct operation at the panel is preferred.
