The CP6931-0002-0000 is a panel-mounted industrial PC produced by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as an operator station and real-time controller, it combines machine visualization, data processing, and fieldbus communication in a single sealed assembly. By integrating directly into a cabinet door or machine front, it shortens signal paths to I/O modules and simplifies human-machine interaction in automated production lines.
The system operates from a 22–30 VDC supply and uses a 16 A plug, while push-in terminals accept conductors up to 1.5 mm². Its front face has an IP65 ingress protection rating against dust and low-pressure water jets. The aluminum chassis tolerates shock loads of 5 G for 30 ms without data loss. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 °C to 55 °C, and storage is permitted between -25 °C and 65 °C. Internal signal routing supports a maximum DDC transfer rate of 50 kHz for deterministic communication with decentralized peripherals. The unit withstands vibrations of 10–58 Hz at an amplitude of 0.035 mm and vibrations from 58–500 Hz at 0.5 G, allowing installation on moving or reciprocating equipment. These operating limits support installation in control cabinets exposed to routine machine vibration and changing ambient temperatures.
Video is routed through a DVI-I port that preserves signal integrity over distances of up to 50 m when paired with active cabling. The panel provides two USB 2.0 Type A ports that are accessible from the front for connecting compatible peripherals. An additional USB-E link is available through an RJ45 socket and provides a bandwidth of 480 Mbit/s for extended peripheral hubs within a 5 m reach. The rear housing has an IP20 protection rating, so it must be installed inside a suitable enclosure. Rear connections remain accessible from within the cabinet, while the sealed front surface can remain exposed at the operator interface. This arrangement separates protected internal wiring from the controls and connections intended for routine access.
