The CP6929-0001-0000 is a Panel PC produced by Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial computer, TFT display, and touch sensor in one housing so the operator can run visualization, parameter entry, and diagnostics directly at the machine face. In automated lines, the unit links motion controllers, fieldbus nodes, and higher-level networks, reducing cabinet space while delivering local human-machine interaction for setup, monitoring, and recipe management. Because the display and computer share one enclosure, operators can view machine status and enter changes at the point of use without a separate operator terminal. It is suited to applications where local control, alarm acknowledgment, and on-screen process feedback need to remain available near the machine.
Electrical power reaches the device through a 5-pin connector rated for 16 A, and the logic section accepts a stabilized input of 22-30 VDC drawn from standard 24 V control supplies. Conductors up to 1.5 mm² fit the screw terminals. The aluminum front has a rating of IP65 at the front and IP20 at the rear, sealing the screen against dust or spray while allowing rear ventilation inside the cabinet. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to +55 °C, covering most production environments. Where the computer must be separated from the viewing surface, a DVI link supports a run length of 50 m. The single-touch overlay sits on the TFT panel, and two USB 2.0 ports can be used for service keys, data backups, or barcode readers.
The chassis survives impacts up to 5 G, 30 ms and withstands sustained vibration of 10-58 Hz: 0.035 mm; 58-500 Hz: 0.5 G. A protective earth conductor of 4 mm² minimum cross-section must be fitted to dissipate fault currents, and this grounding path helps direct fault current away from exposed metal parts. During transport or warehouse storage, the electronics remain functional between -25 to +65 °C, removing the need for climate-controlled packaging. This resistance to shock and vibration supports use on equipment that starts, stops, or cycles repeatedly. The operating layout keeps the display, touch input, and computer functions at the machine station for direct local access.
