The CP6922-1001-0010 is a Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. Mounted on control cabinets, it combines machine visualization and control so operators can work with PLC functions and motion sequences from one interface. Within an automation cell, it runs Windows-based software that links fieldbus networks, drives, and safety I/O. This arrangement places the display and computing platform close to the machine process. Because the computer and display are combined in one housing, the panel can serve as the local operating point for production data, alarms, and status screens.
At the interface, a TFT panel provides consistent color for SCADA graphics. The aluminum front on a sheet-steel body carries IP65 ingress protection against dust and low-pressure water, while the rear remains IP20 for cabinet airflow. Electronics draw 24 VDC and remain functional down to 22 VDC through a keyed five-pin connector. Two USB 2.0 ports support service tools and removable media. Emission to EN 61000-6-4 and immunity to EN 61000-6-2 help the PC remain stable near inverters. Mechanical tests verify 5 G shocks for 30 ms, safeguarding disks and boards on moving machinery. The sheet-metal chassis also dissipates heat generated by the CPU and embedded I/O modules, supporting fanless designs.
Continuous service is rated up to 55 °C, allowing installation in warm control cabinets. Operation remains secure at 95% relative humidity, which suits non-air-conditioned panels. The supply terminals accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², easing integration with standard control wiring. For remote operator posts, a DVI line of 50 m sustains video resolution without repeaters. The longer video reach allows the display position to remain separate from the cabinet without adding a repeater in between.
