Product Description:
The CP6912-0000-0000 is a fanless Panel PC from Beckhoff’s CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines a 12-inch touch display, an industrial motherboard, and field wiring terminals in one enclosure, letting the interface, visualization, and soft PLC functions sit directly at the operator station. Within an automation line, the device acts as the user-facing interface and, through its Ethernet and USB links, passes commands to the centralized Beckhoff controller for coordinated motion, I/O, and safety functions. This integrated layout keeps the display and control connection points together in one panel-mounted unit.
The aluminum front bezel carries an IP65 rating, blocking dust and washdown water so the screen can be flush mounted on a cabinet door. Internally, the logic circuits draw a nominal 24 VDC, and the power supply accepts any input from 22-30 VDC to help the unit ride through brief brownouts. For applications that separate the operator console from the system PLC, the panel transmits video over a DVI-I port that supports up to 50 m of extension cable without additional repeaters. Continuous service is permitted from 0 to +55 °C, covering typical plant floor temperatures when the unit is installed in a sealed cabinet with natural convection.
The rear housing is protected to IP20, which suits installation inside an electrical cabinet where only the sealed front remains exposed. Mechanical resilience is rated at 5 G of shock with a pulse width of 30 ms, allowing stable operation on moving gantries or presses. Two USB-A receptacles deliver data through an internal hub that sustains transfer rates up to 480 Mbit/s; standard cable runs can reach 5 m, and longer distances can be handled with active repeaters. Spring clamp terminals accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², matching the wire sizes commonly used for 24 V control circuits in machinery.
