The CP6909-0001-0000 panel PC is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. It serves as a front-end human-machine interface that hosts visualization software, accepts operator commands, and forwards those commands to the underlying PLC or motion controller. Powered from the machine’s control circuit, the unit can be mounted directly on enclosure doors, shortening cable runs and consolidating display, processing, and touch input in one protected housing for automated production lines.
The electronics receive a nominal supply of 24 V DC, while operation remains stable down to a minimum of 22 V at the plug, providing tolerance for voltage drops on long cable runs. Input current through the power connector is limited to a continuous 16 A, and a 4 A upstream fuse provides local fault protection. Field wiring uses screw terminals that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², matching common control-cabinet cabling. A bright TFT display renders process graphics, and the touch screen permits menu selection or numeric entry. The projected-capacitive interface supports single-touch operation, allowing accurate point selection without multi-finger gestures. The protected front surface is suitable for operator access in industrial areas where airborne dust or occasional water spray may reach the enclosure. Rear connections remain accessible from inside the cabinet for power, display, and peripheral cabling.
