Mounted at the machine front, it supplies operators with graphical feedback and command entry directly on the production floor. The unit integrates its control electronics behind the screen, so it can run PLC visualization tasks while exchanging data with higher-level networks, reducing the need for a separate industrial PC in many automation cells.
The panel is powered from a 24 VDC supply, with operation permitted down to an input voltage of 22 V to tolerate minor line drops. Wiring is secured to a connector rated for 16 A, and conductors up to 1.5 mm² can be landed without ferrules. The laminated front foil and gasket grant IP65 ingress protection, allowing routine washdowns when the unit is cabinet-mounted. Users interact through a Single-Touch analog-resistive sensor layered over the 7-inch TFT display, delivering clear color graphics under typical factory lighting. A single DVI-E input brings video from the host controller, and one USB-E port supports remote desktop extension without internal processing overhead. The sheet-steel and aluminum housing provides mechanical rigidity while acting as a heat sink for the fanless electronics.
Installation flexibility is enhanced by a maximum DVI or USB transmission length of 50 m, so the panel can be located far from its control cabinet. The rear remains service-accessible inside the enclosure and carries an IP20 rating because it is shielded from the production environment. Power enters through a keyed 5-pin connector that also carries protective earth. Two front-accessible USB type-A sockets comply with the USB 2.0 standard, allowing connection of USB drives or barcode scanners; their combined current draw is limited by the internal regulator.
