Product Description:
The CP6902-1009-0000 is a fanless Panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Installed on machine fronts, it couples a TFT touchscreen with an integrated motherboard, allowing operators to issue commands while the device runs PLC, motion, and visualization software. By consolidating HMI and control functions, the Panel PC reduces cabinet wiring and serves as a compact node in distributed manufacturing or process-automation architectures.
Front exposure to dust and water is limited by an IP65 rating, while the rear housing remains at IP20 for cabinet ventilation. Power is supplied through a nominal 24 VDC input; the controller maintains operation down to 22 V. The power connector is dimensioned for 16 A, and incoming conductors may be wired up to 1.5 mm², with a separate protective earth no smaller than 4 mm². Mechanical durability covers production environments: the aluminum frame withstands shocks up to 5 G, and vibrations up to 0.5 G across 10–500 Hz without losing touch accuracy or data integrity. These limits safeguard electronics, displays, and storage media against routine machine impact.
For remote mounting, the DVI/USB extension permits a panel-to-PC separation of 50 m, enabling the screen to sit on a production line while the computing unit stays in a protected cabinet. Two USB 2.0 ports accept service equipment; the upstream cable length is limited to 5 m, and the interface moves data at 480 Mbit/s to external drives or barcode readers. Control electronics survive shock pulses that last 30 ms, and screen components tolerate a vibration stroke of 0.035 mm at the specified acceleration band. Together with the dual USB outputs, these physical allowances keep the Panel PC responsive during maintenance, material handling, and cycle-time-dependent operations.
