The CP6902-1004-0000 is a compact Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It serves as a front-end human-machine interface, integrating computing hardware and a 12-inch TFT screen so operators can visualize process data and send commands directly at the machine. Mounted through the cabinet wall, the unit links its internal electronics to a remote Industrial PC or controller, providing reliable visualization in production areas that subject equipment to mechanical stress and electromagnetic interference.
The Panel PC is powered from a dedicated 24 VDC control supply that enters through a 5-pin socket rated for 16 A and accepts conductors up to 1.5 mm². A DVI-I channel and two USB lines can be extended up to 50 m, allowing placement of the host controller in a separate enclosure without signal loss. The aluminum front is sealed to IP65, protecting the display against dust and low-pressure water jets, while the assembly withstands sinusoidal vibration between 58 Hz and 500 Hz at 0.5 G. Emitted radiation is limited to EN 61000-6-4 industrial levels, and immunity meets EN 61000-6-2 so adjacent drives, contactors, and inverters do not corrupt the screen or touchscreen response. Rear housing integrity is classified at IP20, providing basic finger protection once the unit is installed inside the panel. Electronics continue to operate in ambient moisture up to 95% RH, enabling use in high-humidity processing halls. Two front-accessible ports provide 2 x USB-A connectivity that conforms to the USB 2.0 standard for service keyboards, barcode readers, or data sticks. During transport or accidental impacts, the assembly tolerates shock loading of 5 G without loss of function, helping preserve display availability after handling or cabinet movement.
