Product Description:
The CP6902-0001-0000 is a Panel PC engineered by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended for machine-level visualization and control, this unit combines an integrated display with onboard computing resources so that operators can issue commands and monitor process data directly on the production floor. This arrangement lets the panel serve as both the operator interface and the local computing platform in compact machine installations.
Its display is a TFT panel coupled with a single-touch resistive overlay that provides straightforward touch input. The electronics run from a regulated input of 22-30 VDC, allowing the device to share low-voltage power buses inside a control cabinet. Continuous operation is supported from 0 to 55 °C; within this range, the backlight and processor can dissipate heat without forced ventilation. The aluminum front meets the IP65 ingress rating, so airborne dust or directed washdown water will not reach the display side, while the steel rear remains IP20 for cabinet mounting. For remote graphics distribution, the integrated DVI-I interface can drive a second screen through a passive cable run of up to 50 m using Beckhoff extension modules.
Power is fed through a three-pin connector rated at 16 A. The terminal block also accepts a protective conductor, and Beckhoff calls for a functional earth wire of at least 4 mm² to keep touch voltages low. Field wiring to auxiliary I/O is limited to a maximum cross-section of 1.5 mm², matching common control wiring sizes, and the assembly withstands shocks of 5 G for 30 ms. Two host ports mounted on the rear provide USB 2.0 connectivity through Type-A receptacles, enabling connection of low-speed peripherals without occupying fieldbus bandwidth. Storage temperature can fall to -25 °C or rise to 65 °C without permanent damage to the electronics, and the unit also resists sinusoidal vibration between 10-58 Hz at 0.035 mm and 58-500 Hz at 0.5 G.
