The CP6901-0001-0000 is a fanless Panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial touchscreen display and an integrated control unit, providing operator interface and machine control functions in one housing. When mounted on a cabinet door, the unit provides visualization, local data processing, and communication with the main automation network, reducing cabinet space and wiring complexity. A TFT display sits behind an aluminum front that resists dust and directed water at the operator side, while the rear electronics remain inside the enclosure.
Power is supplied through a 5-pin connector that accepts a nominal input of 24 VDC, while internal monitoring permits operation down to a minimum plug level of 22 VDC. Video can be routed to remote monitors with a maximum DVI cable length of 50 m, so the PC can be located away from larger displays without signal degradation. The aluminum front panel carries a sealed membrane with a front rating of IP65, whereas the back of the sheet-steel housing remains IP20 for cabinet ventilation. Two USB 2.0 ports support a transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s for peripheral devices. During transport or accidental impact, the assembly withstands shocks of 5 G, 30 ms without losing function.

A maximum wire cross-section of 1.5 mm² fits the spring terminals, and the power plug is rated for currents up to 16 A so inrush peaks from connected devices do not trip supply fuses. EMC performance follows the emission standard EN 61000-6-4 and the immunity standard EN 61000-6-2, allowing the Panel PC to operate alongside high-power converters on the same bus. The sheet-steel enclosure, aluminum faceplate, and sealed connectors allow direct mounting on machine doors while keeping front components protected from dust and directed water jets.
