Product Description:
The CP6832-0002-0010 is a panel-mount industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff and assigned to the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for machine-level automation, the product integrates computing, display, and operator input in one enclosure so it can act as both the visualization node and the local control terminal on a production cell. Its architecture allows direct installation on control-cabinet fronts, keeping cable runs short between field devices and the embedded PLC software.
The front of the unit carries a 15-inch color screen that renders process graphics at 1024 x 768 pixels on a TFT panel. A sealed aluminum bezel rated IP65 shields the display and keypad against dust and water jets, while the rear side remains accessible inside the cabinet. Electrical power is supplied at 24 V, and all internal components are specified to operate from 0 to 55 °C. The aluminum housing minimizes weight and serves as a passive heat sink. Mechanical fastening is handled from the front with pull-out clamping levers, and data interchange with external monitors or service laptops is possible through a DVI/USB interface. Two internal USB ports are reserved for expansion devices such as wireless adapters or license dongles.
Inside the chassis, the motherboard provides 3 backplane connectors for Beckhoff I/O cards, and the protected rear section carries an IP20 rating that is suitable once the panel is seated in a closed cabinet. The alphanumeric PC keyboard is supplied in the US layout and incorporates 10 PLC-dedicated keys with status LEDs for quick function calls. A capacitive touch pad replaces the traditional mouse for cursor control. For external visualization, the unit exposes a DVI/USB connector set on the I/O plate, allowing digital video and human-interface peripherals to share a single panel cutout.
