Beckhoff manufactures the CP6819-0001-0000 as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. This operator station combines a display with an embedded PC to act as a human-machine interface for PLCs, motion controllers, and supervisory networks on the factory floor. An aluminum housing helps dissipate heat while keeping overall weight low, and the front laminate supports direct machine interaction without relying only on on-screen menus. Because the computer and display are integrated in one unit, the panel can present process graphics while accepting local input at the machine. That arrangement reduces the need for separate panel components and keeps the interface concentrated at the front of the equipment.
The 6.5 in diagonal provides a compact viewing area, and a native resolution of 640 × 480 pixels keeps graphical objects legible at arm’s length. The screen uses TFT technology, so color reproduction and response remain stable during continuous operation. Ten PLC-dedicated keys sit below the panel, and each key has an LED that shows active states. An integrated DVI/USB interface allows remote display extension and service peripherals without opening the housing. Power is supplied at 24 V DC, which simplifies cabinet wiring from standard control power buses. The enclosure has front IP65 and rear IP20 protection, and three backplane connectors route internal signals to expansion modules. Rear-facing connections keep service access separate from the display area.
For thermal reliability, the electronics operate from 0 °C up to 55 °C without derating, allowing installation in non-air-conditioned cabinets. The unit offers 2 backplane USB ports for data logging, maintenance dongles, or UPS adapters mounted inside the control enclosure. A fully integrated touch screen lets users enter setpoints directly on graphic elements, while the front keys remain available for fixed machine commands. The unit is supplied without a separate touch pad, so user interaction stays on the display and the front keypad. Operators can use screen-based controls for page-dependent functions and the physical keys for recurring actions.
